Welcome to the March 2016 market report for The Woodlands, TX! We had a great response from the previous post so be on the lookout for these reports monthly. Remember, real estate market conditions change by neighborhood and are hyperlocal so if you are curious about your specific home, we’d be happy to give you an analysis! In the chart below, you will find the current months of inventory and the number of active listings, the prior months numbers are in parenthesis. As a reminder, months of inventory is a term used in the real estate world that indicates the amount of time it would take for the market to absorb the current inventory at the rate that homes sold in the last year. As expected this time of year, the number of listings is increasing as the selling season begins to heat up.
